Our solutions increase productivity, improve yield and reduce handling in a wide range of heat applications. We offer a unique range of products, each designed to solve a specific problem.
A combination of a wide range of materials, bespoke CAD design and a wealth of experience in engineering consultancy gives us a real advantage.
With our manufacturing facilities in Yorkshire, United Kingdom and Ohio, United States, we are able to offer market leading delivery times.
We analyse your specific requirement then design the product to solve your problem. This consultancy approach means we can bring benefits to your operation that no one else can.
In our manufacturing process, we have an ethos of continual monitoring and improvement. This lets us produce our products quickly and efficiently, passing these cost benefits on to our customers.
We don't limit our solutions to any minimum order quantity. Uniquely, we custom make every item and orders range from one to thousands.
Used all over the world in specialised environments where machinery and equipment need thermal protection. We tailor each product to solve a specific problem, increasing productivity, reducing waste and saving money.
Used in industrial kiln applications where thousands of products need firing. Removing the need for manual handling or wasted cooling time our refractory pallets have saved time, reduced waste and increased profits for many of the leading manufacturers across the US, UK and elsewhere.
In a conventional firing process, there can be a delay of up to two days whilst the product is cooling sufficiently for manual handling.
Using our refractory pallets removes this delay completely. The product can be fork-lifted from the kiln immediately and moved to a cooling area. The kiln can then be refilled ready for firing again.
Many of our customers have seen huge gains in productivity as a result of our innovative solutions.
Items for firing are very often manually stacked on wooden pallets, moved to the kiln area and then once again manually placed in the kiln one by one.
Our bespoke refractory pallets allow the entire load to be simply fork-lifted into the kiln in one go. The time savings are huge and many of our customers have seen very significant efficiency gains as a result.
Our perforated deck draught blocks improve heat flow and reduce firing in industrial pipe production plants.
Before
Freshly extruded green pipes are stacked on our bespoke kiln car deck blocks. They sit on the kiln car ready for progress through the kiln.
After
Our custom designed kiln car deck blocks ensure good heat flow around the entire pipe product. The result is a significant reduction in waste and increased quality.
We have regular customers around the world that rely on our specialist products, returning for repeat orders. They have seen huge increases in productivity and time-saving, benefiting from our unique capabilities.
Since we design every product to suit your application, there's no limit to the variety of solutions we can provide.

Example CAD design
With specialist engineering, CAD and technical consultancy skills, we offer solutions for a wide range of sectors wherever high temperature is required.
Used in SPF presses for plane parts production.
Various pieces, dams, impact pads and well blocks.
Head wall blocks for carbon bake furnace.
Used to pour molten bronze into moulds.
Unique kiln ware stacking designs.
Bespoke pipe/plant pot kiln cars for intermittent kiln.
Used to protect the hydraulics from temperatures around 1000 degrees C (1832 degrees F), these blocks are subjected to pressures of up to 3000 tonnes and as such exacting tolerances are required to prevent point loading within the press. We have supplied press lining blocks globally to many customers including Boeing, Rolls Royce, BAE Systems and Lockhead Martin.
These product examples illustrate our ability to design and produce solutions to almost any refractory requirement, all custom made for specific industry needs.

We've come up with some answers to questions you may have about our unique refractory solutions.
Not at all, our efficient processes mean we can offer extremely competitive pricing.
No, our minimum order is 1 block and orders run into 1000s.
A full load (40 ft container) takes around 8-10 weeks delivered. A single pallet or skid of blocks would be 2-3 weeks and a single block could be made from drawing to delivery in 3-4 days.
If required we can send an engineer to site, to consult with you and design an appropriate solution. We can also consult online via Zoom or Skype or email.
We have two manufacturing facilities, one in the United States and one in the UK.
